World Series Event highlights

VACATION DESTINATIONS

The Softball World Series is held at family vacation destinations close to water parks, thrill parks, beaches and more, giving your team’s families an extended weekend of games & FUN!

SKILLS COMPETITION

Put your skills to the test on Day 2 with athletes from across the nation. Winners receive cool awards and special invitations to Softball Youth's All-American Games!

5 GAME GUARANTEE

Each team will play 5-7 games (weather permitting) over the course of the 4 day tournament giving you plenty of softball against similar competition!

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAMS

Opposing coaches will nominate players from your team to be named to the Softball World Series All- Tournament Team. All nominees will receive special invitations to the prestigious Softball Youth All-American Games held in July/ August and December/ January!

UNIQUE DOUBLE-SIDED BRACKET

Teams compete in 3 pool play games before being seeded in unique double sided brackets, giving your team a chance for the Gold, Silver or Bronze championship!

IT’S CHAMPIONSHIP DAY!

Day 1

CHECK IN & POOL PLAY BEGINS at 8am

Pool play begins! Your first day at the Softball World Series kicks off with a quick coaches meeting before their teams first pool play game. Merchandise and pre-order pick up will be available for all spectators located at the Fan Shop tent!

Day 2

POOL PLAY & SKILLS COMPETITIONS

Your team will continue the pool play round of the Softball World Series. Each team will play 3 pool play games to determine your seeding for bracket play. During your time around the games enjoy all the local thrill parks, water parks and more from the surrounding vacation destination!

Day 3

POOL PLAY CONCLUDES, BRACKET PLAY BEGINS

Your team will wrap up their pool play games and depending on seeding, will begin bracket play. The Softball World Series features a unique double-sided bracket with Gold, Silver and depending on number of teams, Bronze and Consolation brackets as well, giving your team numerous opportunities to take home a trophy!

Day 4 & 5

IT’S CHAMPIONSHIP DAY!

Your team will compete in either the Gold, Silver, Bronze or Consolation bracket! Individual team closing ceremonies will follow your last game where the Softball World Series All-Tournament teams will be recognized and special Softball Youth All-American Game invitations will be handed out! It will be a great time to celebrate your team’s incredible experience at the Softball World Series!

Sanford Sports Complex

The Sanford Sports Complex now features five FieldTurf softball and five FieldTurf baseball fields. These fields are open to athletes, teams and leagues interested in playing at a world-class facility right here in the Midwest. The ten new fields were part of a 1.7 million-square-foot turf project, one of the largest outdoor turf projects in the country. All fields include lighting for night games, bullpens, digital scoreboards and live-streaming capabilities.
